Job summary

Alliance Automation, Brisbane-based, seeks a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead design, development, implementation and commissioning of advanced control solutions for heavy industry projects. You’ll also contribute to project planning, risk assessment and HSEQ compliance, delivering on-time, within-budget outcomes.

You’ll work closely with clients to define scopes, mentor engineers, and advance our automation capabilities.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in control systems engineering within heavy industry or similar environments.
• Strong client engagement skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Proven experience with control systems, automation platforms, and industrial communication networks.
• A current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions.
• Work directly with clients to define project requirements and develop clear scopes of work.
• Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness.
