Job summary

Alliance Automation in Australia invites applications from a skilled Control Systems Engineer with 2–3 years of relevant experience to contribute to innovative engineering projects. You’ll work on design, implementation, testing, and client support within a supportive and forward-thinking team.

The role focuses on DCS/SCADA, PLCs/RTUs, and robust documentation, with emphasis on HSEQ and collaboration across projects.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of engineering principles and control system fundamentals.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in hardware and software development for industrial applications.
  • Familiarity with development environments such as .NET Framework, VB.NET, and Visual Studio.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation, and testing of high-quality control system solutions across technologies such as DCS, SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, and industrial networks.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation including specifications, drawings, and test procedures.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and in alignment with project schedules.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to clients, contributing to long‑term system reliability.
  • Actively promote and support a strong culture of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ).
