Job summary

Alliance Automation, based in Perth, WA, seeks a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead complex automation projects with hands-on site exposure across Western Australia. You’ll deliver on-site engineering solutions, manage client engagements, and drive project success.

You will design, implement, test, and commission Rockwell and Citect solutions, provide technical leadership, and mentor engineers while prioritising safety and quality in every deployment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering control systems projects within mining, resources, utilities, manufacturing, or heavy industry
  • Strong experience with Rockwell and Citect systems
  • The ability to engage confidently with clients, operators, and project stakeholders
  • A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving and project delivery
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of control systems projects from concept through to commissioning and handover
  • Work directly with clients to understand operational requirements and develop practical automation solutions
  • Design, develop, test, and commission control system solutions using Rockwell and Citect technologies

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our growing Perth team. This is a hands‑on role with plenty of site exposure, giving you the opportunity to work closely with clients, solve real operational challenges, and deliver automation solutions that make a genuine impact.

Working with Rockwell and Citect platforms, you’ll play a key role in the design, development, commissioning, optimisation, and ongoing support of control systems across a diverse range of industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
