Job summary

CGC Recruitment is partnering with an established WA builder to appoint an experienced Contract Administrator for a major $90m industrial and energy logistics development in Perth. You will work with the delivery team to manage procurement, subcontractor packages, variations and cost tracking on a complex industrial project.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator within commercial construction.
• Experience on projects valued at $10m+ will be highly regarded.
• Industrial, logistics or large-scale commercial project experience advantageous.
• Strong procurement, negotiation and cost-management skills.
• Confident managing subcontractor packages and commercial relationships.
• Ambitious, commercially astute and keen to take ownership of your work.

Responsibilities

• Managing procurement and subcontractor packages from tender through to final account.
• Preparing and administering subcontract agreements.
• Managing variations, progress claims and contractual correspondence
• Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasting.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks.
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the project team.
• Supporting the successful commercial delivery of this major development.
