You will work with the delivery team to manage procurement, subcontractor packages, variations and cost tracking on a complex industrial project.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator within commercial construction.
• Experience on projects valued at $10m+ will be highly regarded.
• Industrial, logistics or large-scale commercial project experience advantageous.
• Strong procurement, negotiation and cost-management skills.
• Confident managing subcontractor packages and commercial relationships.
• Ambitious, commercially astute and keen to take ownership of your work.

Responsibilities

• Managing procurement and subcontractor packages from tender through to final account.

The Opportunity

CGC Recruitment is partnering with an established WA commercial and industrial builder seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the delivery team on a major $90m industrial development in Perth.

This is an opportunity to play a key commercial role on a substantial, purpose-built energy and logistics facility, working alongside an experienced project team on a technically diverse build.

The Project

A major $90m industrial and energy logistics development incorporating large-scale warehousing, specialist operational facilities, commercial office space and extensive external works.

The project offers a diverse construction scope, with significant structural, civil, services and specialist subcontractor packages.

You'll gain exposure to the commercial management of a complex industrial development, rather than a conventional warehouse build.

The Role

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you'll be responsible for:

• Managing procurement and subcontractor packages from tender through to final account.
• Preparing and administering subcontract agreements.
• Managing variations, progress claims and contractual correspondence
• Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasting.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks.
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the project team.

About You
