Job summary

Private Advertiser in Western Australia seeks a Commercial Ceilings, Walls and Facade Supervisor to oversee designated projects and liaise with site teams, management, and directors. The role demands hands-on leadership, strong coordination of subs, and a focus on quality, safety and timely delivery.

You will generate ITPs, manage records, and ensure materials and workmanship align with project scopes, budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experienced in supervising commercial construction projects, preferably wall/ceiling or related trades.
• Confident coordinating contractors, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Strong in construction processes, materials and site requirements.
• Commercially minded with ability to identify variations and manage costs.
• Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities and projects.
• Confident reading and preparing mark-up drawings and project documentation.
• Experience with project scheduling, quality control and site documentation.
• Excellent communication and relationship management.
• Committed to safety, quality workmanship and productivity.
• Hands-on, proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise designated commercial projects overseeing wall and ceiling packages and ensuring works are completed accurately, efficiently and on time
• Coordinate and oversee contractors and employees under your supervision
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, regulations and OHS requirements
• Inspect completed works to ensure a high standard of workmanship and that fixing, installation and finishing requirements have been met
• Generate Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for framing, fixing and flushing works at each stage
• Take daily photographs of works and upload them to the company computer system
• Complete daily records, including employee and subcontractor locations, delays, issues and general site status
• Maintain regular site records and provide updates on progress, deliveries and potential delays
• Ensure materials, specifications, sheet thicknesses, insulation, framing, fixings and other requirements match project quotations and scopes of work
• Organise labour, forecast quantities and allocate work tasks to subcontractors
• Join an established wall and ceiling specialist and work closely with project management and company directors
• Contribute to project delivery and company performance in a practical, hands-on environment
