Job summary

Civmec is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on a major project, driving value through proactive client engagement and robust governance. The role sits within Civmec's project management team, with flexibility for FIFO from Perth, WA or local-based work at Henderson, WA.

You will lead contract administration, cost control, and commercial reporting, shaping risk, obligations and opportunities across the lifecycle, and mentor a growing project commercial team

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in law, QS, engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• Experience in senior commercial leadership on major construction, resources, infrastructure or heavy engineering projects.
• At least 10 years’ experience delivering major projects with commercial leadership on mega-projects AUD 200 million+.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong commercial leadership across project commercial and contractual functions.
• Lead contract administration, notices, claims and entitlement submissions.
• Drive commercial strategy, variations, and closeout; manage procurement and risk.
• Manage cashflow, progress claims, cost-to-complete analysis and reporting.
• Lead, mentor and develop the project commercial team and governance processes.
