Civmec is expanding its Commercial team to support an exciting pipeline of upcoming projects. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on a recently secured project, driving commercial success through strong team leadership, proactive client engagement and effective project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in law, quantity surveying, engineering, construction management or a related discipline.
• Senior commercial leadership on major construction, resources, infrastructure or heavy engineering projects.
• At least 10 years' experience delivering major projects with commercial leadership responsibilities on mega-projects.
• Proven experience leading, developing and managing commercial teams of five or more people.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence stakeholders and support decision-making.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strong commercial leadership across all project commercial and contractual functions.
• Lead head contract administration including notices, claims and entitlement submissions.
• Drive commercial strategy, variations, EOTs and remeasurement to maximise entitlements.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor procurement and commercial administration.
• Provide practical contractual guidance to the project team for risk and compliance.
• Manage cashflow, progress claims, client payment cycles and reporting.
• Oversee cost control, forecasts, cashflow, and risk registers.
• Establish governance to track variations, contract adjustments and actions.
• Lead and develop the project commercial team to foster accountability and performance.
