Omnicom Media Group is seeking a Client Partner in Canberra to lead a major portfolio of client relationships and drive growth and profitability. You will collaborate with Strategy, Planning, Investment, Partnerships and specialist units to deliver connected, innovative, and commercially impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• An experienced senior client leader with background in media, communications, marketing or related agency environments.
• Proven ability to manage significant client portfolios and foster relationships with senior or C-suite stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with experience owning budgets, forecasting, revenue growth and P&L outcomes.
• Strategic thinker able to influence broader client business challenges and opportunities.
• Strong people leadership with experience coaching and developing senior client teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior client relationships across a major portfolio, becoming a trusted advisor and strategic partner to key stakeholders.
• Develop and execute client growth strategies, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and expand the agency's offering.
• Own the commercial performance of the portfolio, including revenue, budgets, forecasting, remuneration and resource planning.
• Bring strategic leadership to client challenges, confidently challenging thinking and ensuring recommendations are connected to meaningful business outcomes.
• Champion planning and delivery excellence, ensuring high-quality, connected and commercially impactful work across the portfolio.
• Lead and coach your team, creating a high-performing team culture built on accountability and growth.
• Build strong relationships with C-suite and senior marketing stakeholders, confidently navigating complex environments and influencing strategic business decisions.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, media developments and emerging opportunities, bringing informed perspectives to clients and positioning UM as a leader in communications and marketing effectiveness.
