Job summary

UM Worldwide in Canberra or Sydney is seeking a Client Partner on a 12 month fixed term contract to lead a major client portfolio. You will drive growth, manage budgets and steer strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders, delivering commercially impactful solutions.

You’ll influence executives, mentor teams, and position UM as a trusted advisor beyond traditional media agency services.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading senior client relationships.
Strong background in media, marketing or related agency environments.
Proven experience owning budgets, forecasting and revenue growth.
Ability to influence at C-suite levels and across teams.
Track record coaching and developing senior client teams.
Strategic thinker who connects campaigns to broader business outcomes.
Collaborative leader who builds connected, cross-functional solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead senior client relationships across a major portfolio, becoming a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
Develop and execute client growth strategies to deepen relationships and expand offerings.
Own the commercial performance of the portfolio including revenue, budgets, forecasting and resource planning.
Provide strategic leadership to client challenges and ensure recommendations align with business outcomes.
Champion planning and delivery excellence with high-quality, connected work across the portfolio.
Lead and coach your team to build a high-performing culture.
Build relationships with C-suite and senior marketing stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
Stay ahead of industry trends and opportunities, positioning UM as a leader in communications and marketing effectiveness.
