Job summary

ACCIONA CONSTRUCTION AUSTRALIA PTY LTD – Sydney NSW is seeking a dedicated Supervisor – Civil to join the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission project. You will supervise civil works, ensure compliance with specifications, and lead subcontractors on a large-scale, multi-site energy project in NSW.

You will oversee safety, quality, and schedule, with camp-style accommodation and roster-based rosters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a civil supervisor on major projects.
• Experience constructing outdoor air insulated substations 220kV or above.
• Ability to lead subcontractors and ensure quality/spec compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of HS&E requirements and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction works meet specifications and relevant standards.
• Oversee quality of work under supervision.
• Ensure works align with specifications and Code of Practice.
• Verify Hold and Witness Points requirements before work.
• Induct workers on project hazards and controls.
• Maintain zero tolerance for unsafe practices.
• Close out defects promptly and drive corrective actions.
• Provide leadership to subcontractors and monitor performance.
• Promote top-down and bottom-up quality commitment.
• Ensure compliance with ACEREZ D&C management procedures.
