Job summary

ACCIONA, part of ACJV, is delivering the Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project in New South Wales. We are seeking a dedicated Site Engineer - Civil to join our Energy Hubs and Substations teams, focusing on quality, scheduling and safety on a large-scale transmission build.

Role involves rosters with camp accommodation (14 days on, 7 off), collaboration with Tier 1 contractors, and ensuring regulatory compliance and cost planning. Applicants of all backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience constructing outdoor air insulated substations at 220kV or above.
• 1–3 years post graduate experience in a construction/engineering environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and plan delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and environmental aspects of the project are addressed.
• Record non-conformances and initiate corrective actions promptly.
• Prepare inspection/test reports and reflect contract requirements.
• Assist with construction planning and monitor implementation.
• Maintain project schedule and coordinate activities.
• Assist with status reports and change orders.
• Coordinate resource allocation and foster teamwork.
• Track subcontractor resources and prepare daily cost plans.
