Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Electrical for our Central-West Orana REZ transmission project in Australia. You will lead on-site teams, drive quality, safety, and schedule adherence across multi-disciplinary teams in a large-scale renewable energy context.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in construction/engineering, substations experience, and strong leadership. The role offers a camp-style roster with on-site accommodation and a demanding but rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with large-scale renewable energy and substations projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to subcontractors and manage workmanship to contract specs.
• Maintain project schedule and coordinate activities across teams.
• Prepare status reports and manage change orders.
• Ensure quality plans are implemented and regulatory requirements met.
• Advise on planning, design options, materials, and construction practices.
