Job summary

1673 ACCIONA CONSTRUCTION AUSTRALIA PTY LTD in Sydney is seeking a dedicated Supervisor – Electrical for the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project. You will oversee electrical construction, ensure compliance with specs, and lead a team of workers and subcontractors on site.

The role emphasizes practical leadership, safety, and quality assurance across 220kV+ substations and renewable energy infrastructure, with rostered camp-style on-site accommodation and a strong focus on regulatory

Qualifications

• Preferable 7+ years' experience in electrical project delivery environments.
• Experience working on large scale renewable energy, substations and 220kV+ projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Understanding of specifications and drawings.
• Experience in managing subcontractors for compliance with specs and procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction works meet specifications and relevant standards.
• Take responsibility for the quality of work under supervision.
• Ensure all works comply with specifications and Code of Practice.
• Verify Hold and Witness Points before starting work.
• Induct project personnel on hazards and controls.
• Lead safety and environmental practices to prevent incidents.
• Close out defects and initiate corrective actions.
• Provide leadership to subcontractors and monitor performance.
• Drive quality throughout the project from top down and bottom up.
• Ensure compliance with ACEREZ D&C procedures and checklists.
• Contribute to Safe Work Method Statements and JSA development.
