Job summary

ACEREZ is seeking a dedicated Civil Supervisor for the Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project. You will oversee civil works, ensure compliance with project specifications, and lead subcontractors on-site to deliver high-quality infrastructure.

The role requires strong safety leadership, coordination with design and procurement teams, and the ability to manage rosters and on-site conditions across the Central West Orana region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a supervisor in civil scopes
• Experience constructing outdoor air insulated substations and 220kV or above
• Ability to work effectively with others
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Understanding of specifications and drawings
• Experience managing subcontractors to ensure compliance
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Adherence to regulatory requirements
• Capability to plan and organize work schedules
• Knowledge of health, safety and environment requirements
• Clear, persuasive communication

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction works meet specifications and standards
• Take responsibility for quality under supervision
• Ensure works conform to specifications and Code of Practice
• Verify Hold and Witness Points are completed before work starts
• Ensure inductions covering hazards and controls are delivered
• Maintain zero tolerance for unsafe practices or equipment
• Oversee completion of outstanding defects promptly
• Record non-conformances and initiate corrective actions
• Lead subcontractors and monitor performance
• Drive commitment to quality from top-down and bottom-up
• Ensure compliance with ACEREZ D&C management procedures
• Verify daily and weekly checklists and cooperate with permits
