Job summary

ACEREZ Joint Venture seeks a dedicated Supervisor – Civil to oversee civil construction within the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project. You will ensure work aligns with specifications, manage quality, inductions, and safety, and coordinate with subcontractors to maintain high standards on site.

The role requires leadership, problem-solving and collaborative skills to drive safe, compliant handovers and timely defect resolution on a rostered, camp-based work arrangement in rural NSW.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a supervisor on civil scopes including foundations, piling, bulk earthworks.
• Experience constructing outdoor air insulated substations and substations at 220kV or above is preferable.
• Ability to work effectively with others and lead teams.
• Understanding of specifications and drawings.
• Experience managing subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures.
• Knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction works meet specifications and relevant standards.
• Assumes responsibility for quality of work under supervision.
• Prepares workers with project inductions and hazard briefings.
• Maintains zero tolerance for unsafe practices and equipment.
• Drive defect closure and corrective actions.
• Provide leadership to subcontractors and monitor workmanship quality.
• Ensure compliance with ACEREZ D&C management system procedures.
