Job summary

Stantec in Perth seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the Buildings Civil team, guiding technical direction, delivering projects and mentoring junior staff. You will own a diverse portfolio—from concept to site inspections—across health, defence, land development and commercial sectors.

The role requires 7–10 years in civil engineering consulting, Chartered status or near completion, and strong software proficiency (DRAINS, MUSIC, AutoCAD, 12D).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered status (or near completion) with Engineers Australia or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day guidance to civil engineers, designers and drafters.
• Own project delivery across multiple concurrent projects within time, budget and quality targets.
• Manage client relationships as the primary contact for key accounts.
• Design, coordinate and oversee civil projects from feasibility to construction.
• Review and approve technical deliverables, drawings and reports.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities with clients and authorities.
• Support business development and proposal preparation.
• Contribute to growth of Stantec’s civil engineering expertise.
• Conduct and oversee site inspections as required.
