Job summary

Stantec Perth Buildings group is seeking a Project Technical Leader, Hydraulic Engineer to lead a diverse range of building services projects. You will apply your hydraulic design skills to deliver high-quality outcomes across data centres, healthcare, high-rise, and education projects.

You will manage multiple projects, mentor junior engineers, ensure compliance with Australian standards, and maintain strong client relationships from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years hydraulic building services experience.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop hydraulic building services designs including water, sewerage, stormwater and gas systems.
• Lead client-facing delivery from concept to construction.
• Prepare technical docs, calculations, specs and tender packages.
• Conduct site inspections and respond to RFIs during construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with standards and codes.
