Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Perth office and lead structural design across a range of landmark Western Australian projects. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for health, education, sports, and commercial sectors.

You should bring a tertiary Civil/Structural engineering qualification, likely pursue chartered status (MIEAust/CPEng), and strong knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Chartered status (MIEAust / CPEng) or working towards it.
• Solid post-graduate experience in building structures (consultancy background preferred).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships.
• Thorough knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to structural engineering design across the full project lifecycle.
• Work on projects ranging from boutique builds to large, complex developments.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams across health, education, sports and leisure, multi-residential, retail, and commercial sectors.
• Mentor and support junior engineers as a senior technical resource.
• Engage directly with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver outstanding outcomes.
• Contribute to the development of the Structural team and brand.
