Stantec is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our Perth Buildings team. This role focuses on technical leadership, client engagement and driving project delivery across a diverse buildings portfolio.

You will lead from the front, mentor junior engineers, and develop new business opportunities while collaborating with architects and contractors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective HVAC solutions. The position offers flexible working arrangements and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Design consultancy experience with client engagement and project leadership.
• Mechanical Engineering degree required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages.
• Strong knowledge of building services design.
• Proactive, solutions-focused with client relationships and pipeline growth.
• Working knowledge of Revit and related software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative, can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing project delivery with high-quality outcomes.

• Develop HVAC engineering, heat load calculations, sizing, and coordination.
