Job summary

The Boatshed Restaurant in Perth is seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our waterfront dining team under new ownership since July 2026. You will work closely with the Head Chef to uphold exceptional food quality and presentation across à la carte offerings, private dining, and functions.

We value a confident, hands-on chef who takes ownership of their section, thrives in a busy environment, and helps mentor junior chefs while maintaining top standards of food safety and kitchen

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Hands-on, team-focused with leadership ability.
• Able to adapt to ownership change and contribute to menu development.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage your designated kitchen section.
• Deliver high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Mentor junior chefs and apprentices.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and waste reduction.
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials.
