Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Royal on the Waterfront in East Perth. This high-volume waterfront venue delivers quality food, functions and events with a fast-paced, dynamic operation.

You will lead everyday service, functions and major event periods, driving labour efficiency, GP and consistency. The role requires 5+ years in senior kitchen leadership and a hands-on, proactive management style in a busy kitchen.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar senior kitchen leadership role
• Calm under pressure with confident leadership during high-volume service
• Driven by high standards with focus on food quality and consistency
• Detail-oriented and organised across kitchen operations
• Commercially minded with strong understanding of labour costs and GP
• Strong people leader who can develop and motivate an established team
• Hands-on, accountable and proactive
• Confident managing functions, events and multiple service periods
