The Claisebrook Bar in East Perth, WA is seeking an experienced Chef for a full-time permanent role. You will prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes while contributing to menu planning and daily kitchen operations.

The successful candidate will oversee junior cooks, maintain food safety, manage stock and assist with ordering, while working evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Competenze

• Diploma or advanced diploma in commercial cookery or hospitality, or equivalent.
• Alternatively, at least three years of relevant full-time chef experience.

Mansioni

• Prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes to menu specifications and quality standards.
• Assist with menu planning, seasonal menu development and daily specials.
• Check ingredient quality to ensure taste and portion consistency.
• Monitor cooking processes to maintain quality and minimise wastage.
• Coordinate kitchen activities during service to ensure timely meals.
• Estimate ingredient requirements and assist with ordering supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and food storage to minimise waste.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Supervise and support cooks and kitchen staff as needed.
• Provide training on techniques and ensure compliance with safety rules.
