Job summary

Current Staff in Perth, WA, is seeking a Senior Officer for Casual Workforce Operations to support College Services with rostering, timesheet processing and casual staff contracting across the College of Schools. This is a full-time fixed-term role until April 2028, with the possibility of 0.8 FTE part-time consideration.

You will contribute to system and process enhancements, develop procedures, and provide high-level administrative and advisory support to drive efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with initiative and ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail and deadlines.
• Strong research skills to analyse information and prepare reports.
• Advanced skills in word processing, data entry, spreadsheet management, and database administration using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative support to College Services operations with focus on scheduling, rostering, timesheet processing and casual staff contracting across the College of Schools.
• Contribute to the establishment, implementation and maintenance of systems, policies and procedures for Casual Workforce Operations.
• Interpret and apply relevant policies, and prepare technical and operational reports.
• Collaborate across teams and liaise with stakeholders to support development and continuous improvement of university policies and procedures.
