Job summary

The University of Western Australia is seeking a Casual Workforce Operations Officer to support rostering and scheduling of casual academic staff across the College of Schools. This full-time, fixed-term appointment (until 13 April 2028) offers a base salary of $86,540 with 17% superannuation and may consider part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

  • Year 12 or relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support, preferably within a higher education environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with superior attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities and proven capacity to manage changing priorities and meet competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrate initiative and solve problems while providing high-quality customer service and effective ongoing support as part of a team.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and data management skills (data entry, spreadsheets, systems, databases).

Responsibilities

  • Support rostering and scheduling of casual academic staff across the College of Schools.
  • Administer casual employment processes, contracts, rosters, and timesheets.
  • Provide advice on policies and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative workflows.
