Job summary

ZSoft Technologies Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a Canberra-based contract focused on Records Management & Process Improvement. You will work between business and technology teams to gather requirements, validate processes, and translate needs into actionable specifications for a major Australian Government department.

Responsibilities include facilitating workshops, documenting AS-IS and TO-BE processes, and supporting testing, training and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of Business Analysis experience.
• Experience analysing current-state processes and designing future-state improvements.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation and validation skills.
• Experience using recognised process modelling techniques and tools.
• Proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders and secure agreement on changes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops with business areas and service providers to capture requirements and resolve conflicting needs.
• Analyse AS-IS procurement and operational processes to identify efficiency and governance improvements.
• Develop TO-BE process maps, workflows and business rules with clear roles and hand-offs.
• Translate requirements into specifications and acceptance criteria for configuration, development and operations.
• Develop business cases and documentation supported by stakeholder engagement and analysis.
• Present findings through clear advice, presentations and walkthroughs.
• Support testing, training, implementation and operational readiness activities.
