Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a Senior Bids Manager to lead the firm’s bid and tender program, partnering with senior stakeholders to sharpen value propositions and improve win rates. You’ll drive best practices, lead a high-performing team, and shape how bids and proposals are executed across the business.

You will own end-to-end bid delivery, collaborate with partners and marketing, and oversee a content library, templates and impact metrics to continuously raise bid quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in bids, proposals, or related roles
• Proven success leading complex, high-value bids
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Strong project management skills
• Experience coaching a small team
• Experience adopting AI and digital tools in bids

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of complex and strategic tenders, panel appointments and major pitch opportunities
• Qualify opportunities with partners, define win strategies and themes
• Analyze client documentation to identify requirements, risks, pricing sensitivities and dates
• Oversee drafting, tailoring and quality-assuring bid content
• Coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders and manage timelines and sign-offs
• Ensure compliance with client instructions, government/panel rules and internal requirements
• Collaborate with design/marketing to produce polished documents and presentations
• Lead preparation for pitch presentations and coach presenters
• Own and improve bid content library, templates and guidelines
• Monitor bid pipeline and deliver regular reporting to leadership
• Lead and develop a small team of Bids Coordinators
• Oversee AI-enabled tender tools and governance
