RSM Australia is seeking a Senior Bids Manager to lead end-to-end management of complex, high-value tenders. You will partner with senior leaders to sharpen value propositions, improve win rates, and drive bid excellence across the firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in bids, proposals, or related roles within professional services.
• Experience leading complex, high-value bids with multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills to craft client-focused documents.
• Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience coaching and developing a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of complex and strategic tenders and major pitch opportunities, including cross-service bids.
• Qualify opportunities with partners, define win strategies, and allocate bid effort.
• Analyze client documents to derive requirements, risks, and pricing sensitivities.
• Oversee drafting and QA of bid content; ensure client-centric responses.
• Coordinate inputs from partners, technical experts, finance, risk, HR, IT and manage timelines.
• Ensure compliance with client instructions, rules, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with design/marketing to produce polished documents and presentations.
• Lead pitch preparation, narrative structure, and coach presenters.
• Own and improve bid infrastructure: content libraries and templates.
• Monitor bid pipeline, track metrics, and report to leadership; run lessons-learned.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage a small Bids Coordinators team.
• Oversee AI-enabled tender tools usage to drive efficiency and quality.
