Job summary

ASX, a leading global securities exchange, seeks a senior Business Analyst to join its agile delivery teams in Sydney. You will participate in the BA Community of Practice, perform gap analyses on the As-Is and To-Be states, and elicit high‑quality requirements in the form of epics, features, and user stories for stakeholder adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience in Derivative products and delivering across SDLC in Agile/Lean/Waterfall projects.
• Proven ability to gather stakeholder needs and translate to requirements and epics.
• Strong business process modelling and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a practitioner in the BA Community of Practice (CoP).
• Perform gap analyses on As-Is and To-Be states with stakeholders.
• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements as epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Liaise with project owners and SMEs to review and approve new requests.
• Map process flows, data flows and lifecycle events for transition to target state.
• Support test strategy and contribute to test scenarios.
• Coordinate with IT solution providers on progress and problem resolution.
• Provide cross-functional support including BAU readiness and change activities.
