Job summary

ASX Limited is seeking a Senior Tech Business Analyst to analyse systems and stakeholder needs, drafting technical requirements for the ASX Market Announcement Platform and Reference Data Management system. You will work with a vendor platform, supporting build, test, release, and customisations within Markets.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, data mapping expertise, and experience in testing and translating business processes into technical designs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a technical business analyst.
• Experience documenting technical process flows.
• Experience with data mapping and data translation between systems.
• Proficient in SQL to query databases and message formats (XML, FIX, JSON).
• Experience in unit, system and integration testing.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Collaborates with analysts, designers, and back-end engineers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to elicit business, system and operational requirements.
• Analyze current state processes and map future state processes and models.
• Liaise with vendors and development teams on progress, problems, and design.
• Translate business processes into technical requirements and document interfaces.
• Analyze interface requirements and document mappings.
• Own requirements specification, walkthroughs, and functional specs.
• Decompose goals into technical user stories and designs.
• Support SIT and UAT testing.
• Map data flows and integration points to ensure seamless interactions.
