Job summary

ASX Limited is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join in a hybrid Sydney role. You will collaborate across teams to map processes, elicit requirements, and drive transition to future state while ensuring alignment with project goals and governance.

You will work with stakeholders, manage backlogs, contribute to testing and user training, and support change management in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years dedicated business analysis experience on Agile, Lean and Waterfall projects.
• Experience gathering stakeholder needs and translating to detailed requirements.
• Experience in business process modelling with MS Visio or similar tools.
• Experience using Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence) and working in a matrix structure.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to perform gap analyses on As-Is and To-Be states.
• Elicit, analyse, and specify business requirements including epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Liaise with Project Owners and SMEs for prioritisation and approval of new requests.
• Define transitions of business processes to strategic state and manage life cycle events.
• Contribute to test strategy and review test scenarios with IT providers.
• Support change management and training artefacts for delivered changes.
• Lead or participate in backlog grooming, stand-ups and sprint ceremonies.
