Job summary

ASX Limited in Sydney is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to lead analysis across complex futures trading change initiatives within the Futures Trading Technology team. You will shape scope, translate needs into requirements and drive governance with senior stakeholders.

You will own elicitation, model business processes, data mappings and test strategies, mentor other analysts, coordinate with engineers, vendors and control functions, and help ensure operational readiness, security

Qualifications

Senior-level experience leading business and systems analysis for complex tech change.
Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, and lifecycle management with clear traceability to design, build and test outcomes.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and facilitate workshops.
Understanding of trading concepts: order entry, validation, matching, trade flow and market data.
Experience defining data requirements, APIs, interfaces and integration.

Responsibilities

Lead engagement with senior business, operations, tech and vendor stakeholders to define objectives and outcomes.
Own analysis approach and requirements baseline for initiatives; govern functional/non-functional needs.
Map current/target state processes, data flows, interfaces and controls.
Translate complex trading concepts into artefacts: BRD, FRS, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Plan workshops, design forums and decision sessions; challenge assumptions and drive decisions.
Mentor analysts and ensure quality reviews across requirements and delivery artefacts.
