Job summary

Method Recruitment Group is partnering with an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and Managed Service Provider to recruit an Senior Business Development Manager in Sydney. You will drive new-business within the Australian mid-market, build AWS relationships and personally convert opportunities into consulting engagements.

You’ll combine direct prospecting with AWS co-sell activity, working with architects and delivery specialists to turn customer priorities into outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven hunter who generates pipeline and closes new logos.
• Experience selling consulting projects and managed services, ideally with an AWS partner.
• Established AWS field relationships and practical co-sell experience.
• Confident managing full sales cycle, including proposals, SOWs and negotiations.
• Knowledge of cloud migration, modernization, data and AI.

Responsibilities

• Building a territory plan and generating pipeline through outreach, referrals, events and AWS collaboration.
• Developing relationships with AWS sellers, account managers and solution architects, including joint account planning.
• Leading discovery and qualifying customer needs, budget, sponsorship and buying processes.
• Coordinating solution design, proposals, pricing and statements of work.
• Owning commercial negotiation, contracting and accurate forecasting.
• Using AWS opportunity registration and relevant funding programs to support deals.
