Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions directly within customer environments. You will translate complex business processes into scalable, production-ready systems and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to deliver tailored automation for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

Software engineering experience with Python and TypeScript.
Experience building APIs and integrations.
Hands-on cloud platform experience.
Strong customer-facing communication and solution design skills.

Responsibilities

Design and build AI-driven workflows, agents, and automations using the UiPath platform, including developing AI Agents with UiPath Maestro and Agent Builder.
Translate business requirements into scalable automation and AI solutions, extending platform functionality using APIs, SDKs, connectors, and integrations.
Drive customer implementations from initial design through production deployment, identifying risks and communicating blockers to ensure successful project delivery.
Debug and resolve issues across orchestration, AI inference, integrations, and data pipelines.
Contribute reusable components, implementation frameworks, and best practices while mentoring engineers and helping improve technical standards.
