Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise AI agent workflows inside customer environments. You will write production code, architect grounding systems, manage multi‑agent communication, and deploy end‑to‑end automation across supply chains and back office systems.

You will collaborate with Salesforce Data Cloud, ERP integrations, and cloud platforms, shaping agentic AI solutions and driving real‑world outcomes for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience.
• Deep experience with LLM orchestration, prompt tuning, and building RAG pipelines, vector search indexes, and knowledge base retrievers for enterprise data.
• Practical experience with API design (REST/SOAP/webhooks) and modern agent protocols (e.g., MCP, tool calling, or event‑driven messaging architectures).
• Expertise in process orchestration and API‑led connectivity using tools like MuleSoft or custom middleware to bridge AI agents with legacy ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and asynchronous message integration patterns.
• Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Pega, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, ServiceNow, Appian, Microsoft Power Platform) and competing enterprise AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize complex agent workflows using Agentforce Operations (Regrello).
• Implement agent communication protocols and MCP standards.
• Architect real‑time grounding systems with RAG, vector databases and knowledge bases.
• Develop APIs and integration pipelines connecting AFO/Agentforce to Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake/Databricks, and core ERPs via MuleSoft or middleware.
• Deploy telemetry dashboards and monitor agent performance.
• Bridge frontline deployments with Salesforce product teams to feed edge cases into roadmaps.
• Travel 25‑30% for on‑site deployment with key enterprise accounts.
