Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Forward Deployment Engineer to partner with enterprise customers across Australia and New Zealand. You will design and deliver innovative AI solutions, acting as a trusted advisor and hands‑on engineer to translate business challenges into production‑ready AI deployments.

You will work across Generative AI, cloud engineering, enterprise integrations, and customer‑facing consulting to accelerate AI adoption and transform businesses.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on customer‑facing technology delivery in enterprise settings.
• Experience with GCP and modern cloud architectures.
• Experience building Generative AI solutions using LLMs.
• Knowledge of AI agents, RAG, vector search, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to translate requirements into scalable AI/cloud solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy Generative AI apps using Gemini, Vertex AI, and Google Cloud services.
• Develop AI agents, RAG solutions, and enterprise knowledge platforms.
• Build integrations between AI outputs and enterprise data, APIs, apps and cloud platforms.
• Deliver cloud‑native apps with containers and microservices.
• Establish observability, governance and operational best practices for AI workloads.
• Lead workshops, architecture discussions, PoCs, and customer demos.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable accelerators and assets.
