Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer in Sydney to design and deploy AI-powered automation directly within customer environments. You will translate complex business processes into scalable, production-ready systems and collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams.

Qualifications

Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript or similar languages.
Experience building APIs and integrations with cloud platforms.
Knowledge of enterprise systems and automation platforms.
Proven ability to manage technical workstreams and customer engagements.
Excellent customer-facing communication and solution design skills.

Responsibilities

Design and build AI-driven workflows and automations using UiPath.
Translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions.
Drive customer implementations from design to production deployment.
Debug and resolve issues across orchestration, AI inference, and data pipelines.
Contribute reusable components and mentor engineers to raise technical standards.
