Job summary

Decagon is hiring an Agent Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end AI agent builds for strategic customers. You will own implementation, deployment, and scale of enterprise-grade agents, partnering with customers and internal teams to meet success criteria and timelines.

You will work with Agent PMs, Engineering, and GTM to surface gaps, drive platform improvements, and ensure reliable, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role.
Strong technical foundation: code, APIs, and end-to-end integrations.
Ability to communicate with senior technical stakeholders and translate requirements into plans.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end architecture and execution of AI agent builds for enterprise customers.
Design and engineer core agentic logic for quality and reliability.
Engineer and validate guardrails and supervision for safe agent performance.
Architect, build, and test integrations with customer systems (data pipelines, CRMs, ticketing).
Interface with customers to define success criteria and requirements.
Diagnose and resolve failures via root-cause analysis of traces and logs.
Design evaluation and regression-testing frameworks for agent behavior.
Translate customer needs into internal docs and drive platform improvements.
Partner with APMs, Engineering, Design, and GTM to ensure repeatable builds.
