Job summary

Decagon is hiring an Agent Deployment Engineer in Sydney. You will own end-to-end execution of AI agent builds for strategic customers, partnering with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into build plans and deliver enterprise-grade agents that impact the customer’s business.

You’ll collaborate with Agent PMs, Engineering, and GTM to refine the platform, build reliable integrations, and ensure safe, compliant agent behavior in fast-moving environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role with enterprise SaaS experience.
• Strong coding, API, and end-to-end integration skills.
• Ability to communicate with senior technical stakeholders.
• Experience delivering production-grade customer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and deployment of AI agent builds.
• Design core agentic logic for reliable performance.
• Engineer guardrails for safe and compliant behavior.
• Integrate with customer systems and data pipelines.
• Interface with senior technical stakeholders to define success.
• Diagnose and resolve failures via root-cause analysis.
• Design evaluation and regression testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with PMs, ENG, and GTM to deliver builds.
