Job summary

Procore Technologies seeks a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join our Customer Success Team. You will implement, optimize, and deploy AI agents for enterprise clients, translating complex tech into practical outcomes at scale.

This is a customer‑facing role with significant onsite time (often up to 50%), embedding with client teams to understand operations and drive adoption of end‑to‑end workflows. You’ll report to the FDE Manager and work with a collaborative team delivering measurable impact

Qualifications

• Experience building solutions with LLMs and Gen AI
• Strong ML fundamentals (evaluation, training, problem decomposition)
• Strong engineering background in CS/Math/Software Eng/Physics/ML
• Strong coding skills in Python/Java/C++/TypeScript or JavaScript
• Willingness to travel and work onsite with clients
• Excellent communication and ability to translate tech to business value

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of high-stakes projects with clients in small teams or solo
• Build LLM-powered Agentic workflows at scale
• Interact with customers to understand needs and set AI strategy
• Deploy end-to-end workflows into production and ensure adoption
• Travel for field work/onsite deployments up to 50% or more as needed
