Job summary

Landmark Group is seeking an experienced property professional to originate and secure residential development opportunities across Sydney. You’ll take opportunities from initial identification through assessment, negotiation, due diligence and agreement.

You’ll operate with autonomy, sourcing and acquiring some of Sydney’s largest development sites while collaborating with an executive team and internal planning, development, finance, legal and sales capabilities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in acquisitions, development-site sales, capital markets or commercial property.
• Strong record of originating and progressing property transactions.
• Established relationships across Sydney’s property market.
• Strong knowledge of residential development and site feasibility.
• Experience negotiating complex transactions and acquisition structures.
• The confidence to engage directly with landowners and senior stakeholders.
• Sound commercial judgement and the ability to recognise genuine opportunities.
• The persistence to maintain momentum across long and complex transactions.

The opportunity

Landmark Group is looking for an experienced property professional to originate and secure residential development opportunities across Sydney.

You’ll take opportunities from initial identification through assessment, negotiation, due diligence and agreement.

We operate with a high degree of autonomy, and this role will play a central part in sourcing and acquiring some of Sydney’s largest residential development sites.

You’ll have access to:

• Strong internal planning, development, finance, legal and sales capability

What you’ll own

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has personally originated and progressed significant property opportunities.

This role suits a commercially minded dealmaker with:

• Significant experience in acquisitions, development-site sales, capital markets or commercial property
• A strong record of originating and progressing property transactions
• Established relationships across Sydney’s property market
• Strong knowledge of residential development and site feasibility
• Experience negotiating complex transactions and acquisition structures
• The confidence to engage directly with landowners and senior stakeholders
• Sound commercial judgement and the ability to recognise genuine opportunities
• The persistence to maintain momentum across long and complex transactions

Nice to have

• Experience with a major commercial agency or established property developer
• A relevant qualification in property, finance, business or economics
• A current NSW real estate licence
• Experience across apartment or mixed-use development sites
• Exposure to planning, valuation or development feasibility
