Department of Justice and Community Safety VIC – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Senior Aboriginal Workforce Advisor within the Aboriginal Justice Group. You will coordinate initiatives under the Aboriginal Workforce Strategy and support the growth of the Aboriginal Staff Network, helping advance Victoria's Aboriginal employment goals.

Reporting to the Manager Aboriginal Workforce Unit, you will provide strategic advice on Aboriginal employment and cultural inclusion across the department, lead

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the Victorian Aboriginal community and related issues.
• Ability to communicate sensitively with Aboriginal communities.
• Experience designing or managing Aboriginal employment initiatives.
• Understanding of governance and reporting for programs.

Responsabilités

• Lead development, implementation and evaluation of Aboriginal employment programs.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities for the Aboriginal Staff Network.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and ensure reporting for funded projects.
