The Victorian Government seeks an Aboriginal Advanced Case Manager in Bendigo to work with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal clients with complex needs. Using strengths-based, culturally informed approaches, you will guide rehabilitation and reduce reoffending while collaborating with Aboriginal organisations and the Koori Court.

This role emphasises cultural safety, expert advice to senior leaders, and developing tailored cultural support plans.

Qualificações

• Proven ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal people and communities.
• Strong knowledge of the issues affecting Aboriginal people in the justice system.
• Experience using evidence-based case management frameworks with individuals with complex needs.
• Ability to apply theory to practice, identifying risk and planning interventions.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver meaningful case management for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal clients, focusing on behaviour change.
• Create tailored cultural support plans for Aboriginal clients.
• Assess risk factors and develop individualised case plans to support rehabilitation.
• Provide expert advice to senior leaders on culturally safe approaches.
• Build partnerships with Aboriginal organisations and support services.
• Attend Koori Court to provide advice and support.
