Job summary

MTP Services is seeking experienced Security Training Specialists and Security Training Engagement Officers to support a major Federal Government department in Canberra.

The roles focus on developing and delivering security training, awareness programs and stakeholder engagement across a protection security environment, delivering learning solutions across face to face, virtual and online formats. This is a long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in government training development, delivery or coordination.
• Learning and Development experience in security, defence or complex environments.
• Exposure to protective security programs and security awareness initiatives.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Experience with eLearning development and training platforms.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Training administration and program coordination.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering security training, presentations, workshops and awareness programs.
• Designing learning solutions across face-to-face, virtual, eLearning and blended formats.
• Maintaining training materials, guidance documents and online content.
• Reviewing training programs to improve effectiveness and user experience.
• Identifying training gaps and helping develop strategies to address them.
• Ensuring training remains current with PSPF and government requirements.
• Coordinating training enquiries and advising stakeholders.
• Building relationships across security and corporate teams.
• Supporting meetings and collaborative forums for stakeholders.
• Providing financial and administrative support including forecasting costs.
