Job summary

Securecorp is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at a high-profile retail site in North Lakes, Queensland. You will lead day-to-day security operations, supervise officers and ensure a safe, secure environment for customers, staff and retailers.

This Level 3 role attracts Security Services Industry Award rates, superannuation and a supervisor allowance, with a consistent fortnightly roster and opportunities for career progression within a national security company.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Security Licence with relevant security functions.
• Previous experience in a Security Supervisor or senior security role.
• Previous retail security experience highly desirable.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day security operations on site.
• Provide professional security services and customer service.
• Conduct patrols, monitoring and surveillance activities.
• Manage access control, crowd management and site security procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and emergency situations.
• Identify, assess and manage security, safety and loss prevention risks.
• Provide direction and support to security officers on shift.
• Ensure site procedures, client requirements and security standards are maintained.
• Complete accurate incident reports, shift reports and daily logs.
• Liaise professionally with the client, retailers, emergency services and site stakeholders.

This position is responsible for leading security operations on site, supporting the security team, managing incidents, and maintaining a safe, secure and professional environment for customers, staff and retailers.

This is a Level 3 Security position, attracting Security Services Industry Award rates, superannuation and a Supervisor Allowance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day security operations on site
• Provide professional security services and customer service
• Conduct patrols, monitoring and surveillance activities
• Manage access control, crowd management and site security procedures

Skills & Experience

• Ability to work the required rotating fortnightly roster, including evenings and weekends

Week 1

• Thursday: 3:00pm - 1:00am
• Friday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
• Saturday: 11:00am - 8:30pm

Week 2

• Thursday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• Friday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• Saturday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• Sunday: 3:00pm - 12:00am
