Job summary

Securecorp is seeking professional and reliable Security Officers to join our team in Townsville, QLD. This permanent role offers a fixed fortnightly roster averaging 36 hours per week, providing structure, consistency and a predictable work-life balance.

You will maintain a strong visible presence, conduct continuous patrols, engage with the public, and report incidents accurately to support a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Security Master Licence to operate on sites.
• Experience in frontline security and customer-facing roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous foot patrols maintaining a strong visible presence at the site.
• Provide professional customer service and promote safe and appropriate behaviour on site.
• Monitor, identify, and respond to security, safety, and behavioural incidents.
• Complete accurate and timely incident reports, shift logs, and contemporaneous notes.
• Assist in identifying and managing hazards including unsafe behaviour, vandalism, and environmental risks.

About the Role:

You will play a key frontline role in maintaining a safe, secure, and customer-focused environment. The position requires a strong visible presence, continuous patrols, proactive engagement with the public, and accurate incident reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous foot patrols maintaining a strong visible presence, manage access control points.
• Provide professional customer service and promote safe and appropriate behaviour on site
• Monitor, identify, and respond to security, safety, and behavioural incidents
• Complete accurate and timely incident reports, shift logs, and contemporaneous notes
• Assist in identifying and managing hazards including unsafe behaviour, vandalism, and environmental risks
