Job summary

Securecorp is seeking a Security Supervisor to join our team at a prestigious corporate and manufacturing site in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. The role offers frontline leadership to a 14-person team, focusing on safe, compliant operations and client liaison.

You will report to the Senior Security Manager – Operations and the Securecorp Business Manager, driving operational excellence and a positive safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in complex facilities.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and guide a team of officers.
• Strong incident reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Familiarity with CCTV monitoring and access control operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and mentor a team of Control Room Officers to ensure high performance and training.
• Oversee daily security operations including access control, CCTV monitoring, patrolling and incident management.
• Manage site rosters and KPIs to drive performance and meet contractual requirements.
• Serve as primary on-site contact for security matters, collaborating with client leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and refine site-specific security procedures to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
• Conduct regular team briefings, drills, and training to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and daily activity logs; perform investigations as required.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and client security standards.

Securecorp is currently seeking a professional and experienced Security Supervisor to join our dedicated team at a prestigious corporate and manufacturing site located in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. In this role, you will report to both the Senior Security Manager – Operations and the Securecorp Business Manager, with overall responsibility for ensuring the safety and security of the site, its staff, and visitors. You will lead a team of security professionals while driving operational excellence and fostering a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and mentor a team of Control Room Officers to ensure high levels of performance, training, and motivation.
• Oversee daily security operations including access control, CCTV monitoring, patrolling, and incident management.
• Manage site rosters and workforce coverage to ensure contractual requirements are met, while monitoring and supporting site and team KPIs to drive performance and operational outcomes.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for all security-related matters, collaborating closely with client leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and refine site-specific security procedures to reduce risk and enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular team briefings, drills, and training sessions to ensure preparedness and compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Perform thorough investigations as required.
• Ensure compliance with Securecorp’s policies, procedures, and the client’s global security standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team leader position within a complex facility.
• Strong people-management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and guide a team of officers
• High levels of integrity, professionalism, and resilience
• A collaborative working style and the ability to build effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
• Sound operational judgement and the confidence to make decisions in dynamic situations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including incident reporting and stakeholder updates
• A proactive, improvement-focused mindset with the ability to identify and implement practical solutions
• Hold a current and valid VIC Security Licence and Drivers Licence.
• First Aid and CPR certification (current).
• Evidence of annual Influenza vaccination and Hepatitis B vaccination (mandatory).
