Job summary

Ultimate Security Australia is seeking motivated Security Officers to join our team in Brisbane, Australia. You will protect people, property and assets while maintaining a professional presence on site and liaise with clients, visitors and contractors to ensure a secure environment.

Responsibilities include patrols, CCTV monitoring, access card management, incident reporting and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Security Licence is required.
• HLTAID011 First Aid Certificate minimum is required.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Strong observation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and reliable.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends, public holidays).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets while maintaining a professional presence on site. You will work closely with clients, visitors, contractors, and members of the public to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot patrols

• Monitor CCTV systems and review security footage as required

• Create, issue, and manage staff, contractor, and visitor access cards

• Control access and verify visitor, contractor, and staff entry

• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents

• Complete detailed incident reports and site documentation

• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to clients and visitors

• Enforce site procedures, policies, and security protocols

• Liaise with emergency services and site management when required

Requirements

• Current QLD Security Licence

• Valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 minimum)

• Full working rights in Australia

• Strong observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Physically fit and reliable

• Reliable transport and the flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
