Job summary

Certis is seeking professional Security Officers to support high-profile government client sites across Brisbane. This frontline role requires professionalism and strong customer service in maintaining a safe, secure public-facing environment.

As the first point of contact, you will set the tone for visitors and staff while following site procedures and security protocols. Monday to Friday day shifts with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing security role.
• Current QLD Security Licence (Cert II – Crowd Control & Unarmed) is mandatory.
• First Aid Certificate and CPR are required.
• Unlimited working rights in Australia are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage access points and maintain a safe, secure environment.
• Screen visitors and monitor site entry/exit.
• Deliver high-level customer service in a public-facing setting.
• De-escalate challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Support emergency response procedures when required.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures and policies.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.

We are seeking professional Security Officers to support high-profile government client sites across Brisbane. This is a frontline role where professionalism, composure and customer service excellence are essential in maintaining a safe and secure public-facing environment.

About The Role

The security team at these sites plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, comfort and confidence of the community accessing government services.

As the first point of contact for visitors and staff, you will set the tone - delivering a welcoming, respectful and professional experience while maintaining strict adherence to site procedures and security protocols.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Roster: Monday to Friday – Day Shifts (No nights or weekends)

Locations: All Suburbs Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast including Mt Isa, Townsville, Cairns, Mackay, Longreach, Bowen, Aitkenvale, Gladstone, Mareeba, Bundaberg, Emerald, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Innisfail.
