Job summary

Securecorp is seeking a Security Officer and Control Room Operator for our Helensvale site on a rotating 4-on/4-off 12-hour shift roster, including days and nights. This full-time, permanent role falls under the Level 4 Security Services Industry Award with a First Aid allowance.

Role responsibilities include guarding, patrolling, monitoring, access control, emergency response, CCTV control room operations, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Current Security Licence is required.
• Control Room Licence and Crowd Control endorsement.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Flexibility to work rotating rosters including nights and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Professional attitude with a positive and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of security and customer service.
• Guard, patrol, monitor and control assigned premises.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms and calls for assistance.
• Assess and manage situations of risk.
• Conduct access control duties.
• Perform CCTV control room operations.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate data logs.

Security Officer and Control Room Operator

Securecorp currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Security Officer to provide exceptional customer service and emergency response at a retail site based in Helensvale.

This is a full-time permanent position working a 4 days on / 4 days off roster, consisting of 12-hour shifts across days and nights. The role is paid at Level 4 under the Security Services Industry Award, plus First Aid allowance.
